Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

It seems as if it has been a while since we reviewed anything new from the Hoppers on our website.  Of course, the group is well known in Southern Gospel Music and they have a giant fan base.  This project is one that will make all of the Hopper’s fans very happy and make even get then a few new ones!

The project begins with “Jesus The One.”  The song is an upbeat song that does an excellent job of reminding us who Jesus is!  The title song of the project is next and this song really gets up and goes.  “Life Is Good” is a proclamation that life is good because we belong to God and we surely cannot argue with that!  I love songs about God’s Grace and the next song on this project is titled “Grace Will Get To You.”  What a beautiful message in this song reminding that God’s Grace will get to you when you need it.  I love the next song titled “Walk Two.”  It reminds the listener that, as the Bible says, if we are asked to walk a mile, walk two.  It is a wonderful reminder that we should always be looking for opportunities to help our brother or sister in Christ.

“Brethren We Have Met To Worship” is an outstanding, old-time hymn that the Hoppers have put a nice arrangement on.  The next song picks up the tempo once again.  The message of “If We Ever Gotta Look” is simply that if we could get a look of what Heaven is like while we are down here, we would not want to stay down here.  I am not sure I have ever heard that message in a song before but this song is a good one! “Until You’ve Known The Love Of The Lord” is a great Rusty Goodman song with a beautiful message about the Love of God.  The Hoppers have a good arrangement of the song and you will enjoy it.

I have always enjoyed songs about the great stories in the Bible.  “Song Of Moses” is one of those songs that also reminds us that we too have access to that same power that Moses did.  The next song is a bit of a different style than we are used to from the Hoppers but “My Ransom” is a wonderful song about the ransom that Jesus paid for us.  “By And By” is another upbeat song that talks about the day that Jesus calls His Children home to Heaven.  The final song on the project is “Before The Sun Goes Down” and this is a beautiful ballad that the Hoppers do an excellent job on.

As I said, the Hoppers have been around in Southern Gospel Music for many decades.  They are well established as one of the finest groups traveling in Southern Gospel Music today.  I have enjoyed the group since I first discovered them as a teenager and I will continue to enjoy them for a long while with projects like this one.  My favorite songs from this project are “Life Is Good,” “Walk Two” and “If We Ever Get A Look.”  All of the songs on this project are good ones and they are performed in the classy style that we have come to expect from the Hoppers.  For more information on the Hoppers, visit their website at www.thehoppers.com.
