StowTown Records' artist Beyond The Ashes is happy to share the news of the marriage of baritone singer, Casey Shepherd, to Lisa Di Virgilio.

The couple married last month in a beautiful ceremony in New York where they first met and fell in love.

And where did they meet? They met in New York.  Casey saw Lisa, for the very first time there, on television where she was a TV reporter on the news!  He went on to send her an email expressing how gorgeous she was.  He never expected a reply but, low and behold, he got one. That reply led to a first date which went on to lead to a lifetime of love.  

StowTown Records has released, today, the ten-song collection Old Soul by Wayne Haun. Drawing from renowned influences such as Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Dean Martin, Barbra Streisand and more, Haun takes the listener on a musical journey to a “time gone by."

Nominations for the 2013 Annual NQC Music Awards were announced today by Clarke Beasley, Executive Vice President, National Quartet Convention, and reflect a mix of the best and brightest in Gospel music over the past year.

Based on both fan popularity and professional excellence, the awards will be presented in two categories: Fan Awards and Industry Awards. The Fan Award categories will be voted on by members of the NQC email list and the Industry Awards will be voted on by music professionals that participate as exhibitors during the National Quartet Convention.

The awards will be presented on Friday, September 13, 2013, at the 53rd Annual National Quartet Convention (NQC) in Louisville, KY during a special afternoon session in Freedom Hall.

One of Christian music’s leading booking agencies, The Harper Agency, has announced the signing of popular quartet, The Old Paths (pictured in attached jpg). The announcement comes on the heels of the group’s recent Number One national hit, “God’s Great,” their second Number One national hit from their Right Now recording on Crossroads Music’s Sonlite Records label. The song peaked at Number One in the June issue of The Singing News Magazine.
