Final Harvest“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)

Rochester, NY serves as the hometown and the base of the gospel group, Final Harvest.  However, over the next month Final Harvest will be living in their RV, affectionately and appropriately named “The Harvest House”, as the group embarks on a concert tour that will take them to the western part of the US.  The tour will bring Final Harvest to such states as Pennsylvania, New Mexico and Arizona.

Final Harvest is a group of women led by Jesus Christ who have a very specific message to share.  Their Founder and President is Pamela Warren who also serves as one of the vocalists.  Other vocalists include Pam Sandberg and Lacy Burdick.  Marilyn Turpin serves as the sound technician for the group and Nancy Kizielewicz handles the bookings for Final Harvest.  In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I am on the Board of Directors of Final Harvest and advise the group in some business and music industry areas.

Final Harvest currently has two recorded projects available for sale, along with a one hour radio interview available on CD, and they have several additional projects in the works.  The group has released four singles to Southern Gospel Music Radio.  If you are a radio station or DJ and would like additional information on Final Harvest, their music or to schedule them for an interview, please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This current tour is an exciting time for Final Harvest!  The tour has been in the works for over a year and many have worked tirelessly to make it possible.  Final Harvest is excited to embark on this tour because of the tremendous ministry opportunities that they expect God to provide.  The Final Harvest message is one of the salvation through Jesus Christ.  They, through music and testimony, share the Gospel of Jesus with the unbelievers and also encourage the Christian in their walk with Christ and in their own ministry of sharing the Gospel with others.  They sing a variety of styles of music including Southern Gospel, light Christian Contemporary Music and inspirational music.  Their wide array of music includes some favorites as well as some original compilations from group member, Pamela Warren.

So, how can you keep up with Final Harvest and their journey out west?  Well, I have just set up a blog for them and various members of the group will be posting to it throughout the tour.  This blog will soon be accessible through their website at www.finalharvest.us or you can visit it directly at http://finalharvestblog.wordpress.com. You may also visit their website for a full schedule of their upcoming events!  I encourage you to check it out and come out see them, if they are going to be in your area.

I am reminded of a song that the CrossWay Quartet sang just about a decade ago.  The song was titled “The Time That Remains” and includes the following chorus:

In the time that remains
I will lift high the Cross
And in Jesus’ Name
Be a light to the lost
I pray I won’t live
One moment in vain
For all that I have
Is the time that remains

Those words and that chorus describe the calling on the ladies of Final Harvest lives as well as any I have ever heard.  They are each committed to the call of telling others about Christ and have made that their top priority.  Final Harvest is sold out to the call that God has placed on their lives and they will be living that call out in the next month and beyond as they travel and minister for Christ!
