Jim Brady is a very talented vocalist that spent several years as a member of the Booth Brothers. Recently, Jim, his wife Melissa Brady and Tim Parton have embarked a new ministry that is being very well received across the nation. Also recently, Jim went into the studio and recorded sixteen hit songs from the over the years in Gospel Music! This project is the result of that time in the studio!
The project begins with "Hold On To Jesus" which is an awesome song that reminds us even when we have no hope that we can hold on to Jesus and that is all we need! Next on the project is "Keep Of The Lost And Found." I have always enjoyed this song and Jim does an exceptional job singing this song. "Until Then" is one of the great songs in Southern Gospel Music. I love the way that Jim songs this song! Next on the project is one of my all-time favorite songs. The song is "He Didn't Throw The Clay Away" and I believe that we can all be very grateful that God does not give up on us!
"Maker Of Them All" is a great song that reminds us that God created everyone! "Never To Broken To Belong" is a song with an amazing message that God can heal you no matter how broken your life is. The next song on the project is a song I first heard on a Crabb Family project. I loved it then but I really love Jim's version of "You Can't Do That Anymore." "He's Living Today" is a great song reminding us that God rose from the grave and He is still living today!
I mentioned that Jim is currently singing with his wife and Melissa joined Jim for a song on this this project and what a song! It is the great song titled "I Still Glory In The Cross" and what an amazing vocal performance from Jim and Melissa. The next song on the project is another classic song. "Sheltered In The Arms Of God" was one of my mom's favorite songs and I loved hearing the song again. I have always thought that "Who Am I" is one of the great songs in Southern Gospel Music. Jim's version is simply breathtaking and I know you will love it too! Next on the project is a track titled "Calvary Medley." This is a medley of songs including "I've Been To Calvary," "I Believe In A Hill Called Mount Calvary," "The Old Rugged Cross Made The Difference" and "At Calvary." They are all outstanding songs which make for an incredible medley!
"Master Of The Sea" is a song that reminds us that Jesus Christ is the Master of the Sea and He can calm the storms in our lives as well! One of my favorite subjects for songs is grace and Jim has a great one with "A Moment Of Grace." All it takes to change our lives forever is a moment of grace! "Unspoken Request" is a song that I was not very familiar with but I enjoyed the song and the message is outstanding. The project ends with "The King Of Who I Am." It is a great version of this song and a wonderful ending to this incredibly good project!
You really do not need me to tell you how talented Jim Brady is! He has proven that on many stages and recordings over the past several years. I have heard Jim featured on many songs over the years but I loved hearing him put his special touch on these great songs. My favorite songs where hard to pick but I finally chose "Sheltered In the Arms Of God," "He Didn't Throw The Clay Away" and "I Still Glory In The Cross."
