Probably one of the most anticipated projects to come out in a long time is the debut project for Cana’s Voice titled “This Changes Everything.” Cana’s Voice is made up of Jody McBrayer, (formerly of Avalon), Doug Anderson (formerly of Ernie Haase and Signature Sound Quartet) and TaRanda Greene (formerly of the Greenes). All of the group members are outstanding vocalists and their combined voices is an outstanding blend that will be enjoyed by even the most discerning listener.

The project begins with “Heavenly Father” and proclaims our need for our Heavenly Father. We need Him to keep us strong each and every day. The project continues with a song titled “I Give It To You.” This song has a message of giving our problems and trials over to God. We need to give Him each and every part of our life from our heart, to our worship to our difficulties and problems. “Jesus Never Fails” is, of course, a known and true statement. The song is a beautiful ballad that reminds the listener that Jesus does not and cannot fail. The next song on the project is one of those that makes you stop and think. “On Mountains Alone” is the title and the line in the song that says “I’d rather walk with You through valleys than stand on mountains alone” is a great message and I have never heard it put quite that way but I wholeheartedly agree!

As Christians, we should gear everything single we do towards doing it for Christ. The next song on this project, “All My Reasons Are You,” expressed that thought in an upbeat, awesome song. I love the message! “Love Anyway” has a very powerful message that we, as Christians, need to love everyone regardless of their past or life’s situation. That is the way that Jesus loves us and we should also love like that. Have you ever heard someone talk about someone having a big heart? I am sure you have but the next song on this project says “His Heart Is Big Enough.” What a great message in a song and God’s Heart is big enough to love each one of us, so come on back to Him today! “There Is A Mountain” is a song that I first heard by the Gaither Vocal Band and have since heard it by a handful of other groups. However, Cana’s Voice version of this song is as good as any other version I have ever heard. The next song that Cana’s Voice presents to the listener is titled “The Same Hands.” What an incredible song of encouragement! It reminds us that those hands that created the world, performed the miracles in the Bible and were nailed to a Tree are the same hands that are holding you and me!

There is no way that any of us are worthy of God’s Love. We are all lost in sin but God’s Blood covers all and we can claim freedom in that Blood. Cana’s Voice gives that message in their next song titled “Let The Blood Speak For Me.” I would guess that each and every one of struggles with some kind of fear in our lives. I know that I do and I know most everyone else I know, admits to those struggles too. “Hello Fear” is a great song that is really a song about saying goodbye to our fears through the strength, grace and mercy that Jesus gives! Claim that promise today and say goodbye to your fears! “I Won’t Go Back” is a proclamation in a song that says we have been changed and we will never go back to the way it used to be! The project ends with a great song of worship titled “Holy Spirit Come Fill This Place.” What a beautiful song inviting the Holy Spirit to come into our presence. It is a perfect ending to this wonderful project.

The three members of Cana’s Voice are well known and accomplished singers. The anticipation for this project was great and it did not disappoint in any way. The production and song selections are first rate! The vocal performances are as close to perfection as you will find on this earth. The clarity of the voices and the harmonies are exquisite and will bless you time and time again. My favorite songs from this project are “I Give It To You,” “There Is A Mountain” and “The Same Hands.” There are thirteen songs on this project and each and every one of them will take you to a unique and different place of worship! From songs designed to usher you into the presence of Jesus to songs that will encourage and uplift the weary and everything in between, this project has it all and you owe it to yourself to get your own copy today!
