They have a list of number one songs that is very long! The Crabb Family has just released a brand new DVD of their final concert. It is a wonderful collection of Crabb Family songs that was recorded in the Tennessee Theatre. The concert begins with "Promised Land" and I love this song! The song is an upbeat song about going to Heaven. "Greater Is He" is one of the Crabb Family's later hit songs and I enjoyed hearing it once again. The next song is "Travelin' On" and that is the perfect set up for "Sacrifice Of Praise." I absolutely love the hymn "Amazing Grace" and the Crabb Family version is awesome with Adam Crabb on the harmonica! One of the great Crabb Family songs is "Please Forgive Me." The is a wonderful song about the Grace of God and how much we need it. The next song is a prayer and plea to God to come to us in a great song titled "Please Come Down To Me." This song is followed by two terrific songs, "Because Of Who You Are" and "I Surrender All." The next song is a Crabb Family classic titled "Through The Fire." What a great song of encouragement for anyone going through a trial. I love this song and as usual the Crabb Family delivers a great performance. Jason follows up this song with the great Carroll McGruder song "I'm Going Home With Jesus." They do a terrific job on this song as well.
"Good Day" and "I've Come To Take You Home" keep this concert moving right along. The Crabb Family sings another classic Southern Gospel song next with "I'd Rather Have Jesus." What a great song and I loved hearing the Crabb Family sing this wonderful song. One of the early songs from the Crabb Family is next with "The Lamb The Lion And The King." The Crabb Family really kicks it up a notch on this old favorite! The concert ends with "Can't Nobody Medley." The DVD also includes a couple of bonuses including the song "Redeemer" and a special feature giving you the opportunity to meet the Crabb Family. The Crabb Family is such a talented group and they always deliver a lot of excitement in their live concerts. This project captures all of that and it really is a collection of the many hits from the Crabb Family from over the years. My favorite songs from this project are "Through The Fire," "The Lamb The Lion And The King" and "Please Forgive Me." The entire DVD and concert is awesome and I highly recommend it for every Crabb Family fan and for anyone who loves Southern Gospel Music. |
