When you
start talking about historic names in
Southern Gospel Music, it won't be long
before the Couriers name comes up in the
conversation. This group has rich
and historic roots and Tim Beitzel,
Larry More, Brett Scarem and Tom Keel
are carrying on that tradition in a
wonderful way.
"I'll Be
Ready" gets the project off to a rousing
start and my prediction is you will love
it! "Where Is God" is a song
written by Kyla Rowland and I love the
message of it. It reminds us that
if you are a Christian, God is
everywhere you go! "Someday" is a
slow melody and the message is a good
one of someday making it to Heaven.
If you like good Southern Gospel singing
and fast paced songs, "He Paid The Debt
For Me" is the song for you!
Awesome song and an awesome job singing
it by the Couriers!
"My Heart
Is Full (With Jesus Love)" is a song
written by Doris Akers which indicates
it must be an older one. However,
I have never heard it and I love the
message of the song about Jesus' Love
but I also enjoyed the harmonies on the
song by the Couriers. The next
song is an old one and I do know it!
"He's A Personal Savior" is a terrific
song and I always enjoy hearing it
again! "I've Found A Friend" is a
song that you will likely find in your
church's hymn book and the a cappella
version of the song on this project is
nothing short of awesome! Group
member, Brett Scarem, wrote the next
song and "Skies Of Blue" is about going
to Heaven and I always love to dwell on
that!
The next
song probably everyone reading this
knows! "How Great Thou Art" is
right up there with the greatest songs
of all time and this version from the
Couriers is very enjoyable. "I'll
Be Satisfied" has a catchy tune and it
reminds us that we will be satisfied
when we reach our Home above! "I
Won't Have To Cross Jordan Alone" is a
great old song and this cut is an
instrumental featuring Tom Keel.
You will enjoy the song and Tom's
version of it. The final song on
the project is titled "With A Song In My
Heart (And A Prayer In My Heart)."
The song is fast paced song that starts
off with an old record sound!
The
Couriers have long been known for class
and they are are still one of the classiest
groups traveling today. The group
has exceptional harmonies and great
vocal talent. My favorite songs
from this project are "I'll Be
Satisfied," "Where God Is" and My Heart
Is Full (With Jesus Love)." Their latest
project has twelve great songs and very
good production. I guess you could
say, they are "The Real Deal!" For
