Curt Davis is a former member of such groups as the Perrys and the Whisnants.  Today, Curt has embarked on a solo ministry and this project is a very good one.  His project showcases a talented singer and songs by various writers.

The project begins with an upbeat song titled "Walking The Way."  It is a song that is basically about our earthly journey to our Heavenly Home!  The song is also the debut radio single from the project.  The next song is titled "Again" and it is written by master songwriter Rodney Griffin.  I am not sure if the song has been recorded before or not but I have never heard it.  I do love the message of the song.  "Hands Of Grace" is a terrific song that you will enjoy both the message and the melody.  "Find Your Wings" slows down the tempo tremendously.  The song is a beautiful ballad that will be enjoyed by all who hear it.

"Because Of You" was written by Jim Brady of the Booth Brothers.  It reminds us of exactly what we have because of Christ.  It's a great list and this song will get you to think of a few things to add to that list.  "Comfort Me" is a song that asks God to comfort us as we go through a storm.  I am sure that is a situation that we have all been in before.  "If It's God's Will" was an intriguing song title to me.  The message of song simply reminds us that if something is God's Will, it will work out.  A truth I have found to be true a number of times.  The next song is titled "Don't Give Up On Victory" and this song seems to be a favorite around the offices here at the Southern Gospel Music Forum.  The song reminds us that victory sometimes takes time and we should never give up on it.  The victory might just be today!

"A Very Present Help" is a song that Christian's going through a trial will find to be an encouragement.  Southern Gospel Music has many songs designed to do that but this song expresses the sentiment better then a lot of them.  "I Choose Jesus" reminds us that the greatest things in life will come to us when we choose Jesus.  "It's A Good Thing" is a praise and worship song, Southern Gospel style!  The song reminds us just how good it is to sing praises to Christ!  The final song on the project is another from the pen of Jim Brady.  The title of the song is "Move My Heart Again" and the song has a very special message in it for those Christian's who may have lost the fire of their Salvation.

Curt Davis has plenty of experience singing with some top groups in Southern Gospel Music so it should not surprise us that he is a good singer!  This project showcases Curt's vocal abilities to sing various types and styles of songs.  The project is well produced with a good song selection and enjoyable instrumentation.  My favorite songs from the project are "Walking The Way," "If It's God's Will" and "A Very Present Help."  The project is one that will be enjoyed by Southern Gospel fans everywhere and I think you will see many people begin to enjoy the ministry of this talented individual.  For more information in Curt, visit his website at www.curtdavisonline.com.
