The Daryl Williams Trio has a great record of producing high energy projects full of great songs written by Daryl!  This project is no different as the project is full of energy and Daryl has a hand in writing every song on this recording.

"When The Saints" is a bit of a rewrite on the old song "When The Saints Go Marching In" but Daryl adds his special touch as a writer the group just knocks it out of the park when they sing it! By the time it ended, I though we were going to marching through the gates!  "I've Come To Here To Tell You" is a co-write for Daryl with Kirk Talley and I enjoyed their version as much as Kirk's!  "Between Two Thieves" is a familiar song from somewhere but I can't remember where!  It's another look at the Crucifixion Day.

"A Homesick Angel" is a different title for a song but this song is a unique look at that day we cross over into Heaven.  "That's Why We Cry Holy" is a slow melody and a wonderful expression of praise and worship to Christ.  "Ready For Wings" picks up that tempo again and it's another terrific song sung in the great style of the Daryl Williams Trio!  "When God Has Another Plan" is a song with a profound message and the song reminds us that God sometimes has another plan for our life and we should just walk on and say yes!  What a great idea for a song!

"I Don't Sail Alone" is pure Southern Gospel singing and I love it!  The message is great to as it reminds us that God is always with us!  "Why Trouble The Master" bring Daryl together with Jeff Steele to write the song.  It reminds us that even when we believe all hope is gone, God can still provide.  "His Hand On Me" ends the project much the way it began!  With an up beat song with an up beat message!

In case you can't tell, I love the Daryl Williams Trio!  They sing Southern Gospel Music the way it should be sung!  This project has ten songs all of which could do well on radio.  The vocal quality and clarity of this group is top notch and, of course, the Crossroads folks offer top notch production.  My favorite songs were hard to pick but I finally came up with "I Don't Sail Alone," "When God Has Another Plan" and "when The Saints."  This may the best project I have heard this year.  It is in my top three for sure!  For more information visit www.darylwilliamstrio.net
