The Dills
have come on to scene over the past few
years and they are incredibly talented.
Their latest project is titled
"Uncommon" and that describes the group
as well. You will enjoy every
single song on this project by this
group.
"I Will Go
The Distance" is a great song that
states that we will go the distance with
Christ. The next song is an upbeat
one with "Fight To The Finish."
What a great song written by Rebecca J.
Peck that reminds us that life is a
fight to the finish. The next song
slows it down tremendously as "I Carried
His Cross" gives a unique perspective of
the man who carried Christ's Cross.
"To Worship
You" is a proclamation to Christ that we
only want to worship Him. "The
Closer I Get To The Cross" is a
beautiful, slow song. It talks of
how the closer we get to the cross, we
see God's Holiness and our sinfulness.
It's a great song that each person
should listen to. "The Sound Of
His Voice" reminds us of the power of
God's Voice and Words!
The title
song of the project is next and
"Uncommon" is a song that describes what
Christ did for us and how uncommon it
was. "Wonder Working Power" picks
up the pace once again and it simply
reminds us that if you need redemption,
you need Christ's Wonder Working Power.
A great upbeat song with an upbeat
message. The project ends with
another upbeat song titled "God Will
Go." I love the message of the
song as it speaks of God going before us
and clearing a path to our victory.
The Dills
are a very talented group. They
appear to be a young group as well but
the one certainty is that this group can
flat out sing! The production and
song selection is very good on this
project but it is the vocal
presentations that make this project
exceptional. My favorite songs
from the project are "God Will Go,"
"Fight To The Finish" and "The Closer I
Get To The Cross." The entire
project has nine songs and they are all
favorites in my book. If you have
not heard this group before, please get
a copy today and begin enjoying them!
