Most of the projects that we receive for review are recent recordings.  However, we received a project from Ginny Wicker a little bit ago that was recorded in 1993.  The project style would be Christian Country and Ginny sings that style quite well.

"The Purple Song Book" is the title song and the first song on the project.  It's a unique song about several of the old hymns many grew up singing.  The next song is "Take Time To Be Friendly" which is good advice for everyone.  "Take God With You Don't Leave Him At Church" is a great message for all Christians!

"What Kind Of Memories Will You Be Leaving Behind" is a song that asks a poignant question and has a very good message.  The next song is titled "What The World Needs" and it reminds us how much this old world needs Jesus.  "Keep On Keeping On" is always a good message and idea for a song.  The next song on the project is "Tap Me On The Shoulder" and this is a unique song title.  The song is really a prayer set to music that simply asks the Lord to remind us when we are doing wrong.

"I'll Be Ready To Go" is a song talking about the final trip that we will be taking to Heaven and that we are ready for that trip anytime.  "Christmas In Heaven" is a song about that first Christmas we will spend in Heaven with Christ.  "Lifetime Guarantee" is the final song on the project.

Ginny Wicker's project will be enjoyed by anyone who enjoys the Christian Country style.  The songs are all good songs and the production is good.  My favorites cuts from this project are "Take Time To Be Friendly," "Tap Me On The Shoulder" and "I'll Be Ready To Go"  Be sure to check out the project and consider adding it to your collection.
