Heaven Sent is a new group to me and I enjoyed listening to the latest effort from this group. Their latest project is titled "Are You Ready?" and it's a good one.

"Somebody Left The Door Open" is a song recorded not too long ago by the Daryl Williams Trio.  In fact, Daryl wrote the song.  This version is a good one as well.  "You Better Get Ready To Hear Some Singing" is a good song that I don't think I have ever heard.  It's a nice, upbeat song in that traditional Southern Gospel style.  A Dottie Rambo classic is next and Heaven Sent tackles one of my favorites titled "I've Never Been This Homesick Before."  It was great to hear that song again.  Speaking of classic songs, the Rusty Goodman song "Who Am I" is next and it's a good performance on this classic song.

"He's All That In One" is a well written song that reminds us of the many, many things that God is and will be to us.  There seems to be a resurgence in Heaven Bound music lately and that is okay with me!  Heaven Sent sings their version of "I've Been Looking For The Lights Of That City" and I enjoyed it a lot.  "Table Of The King" slows things down tremendously and what a great picture this song paints as we sit down at that table of the King.  "New Day Dawning" is a popular song in Southern Gospel Music and Heaven Sent sings it well.  The next song on the project is a Ray Boltz song that has become quite popular in Southern Gospel over the past few years.  "The Anchor Holds" is an awesome song and I always enjoy a good version like Heaven Sent has.

Another true classic is next as Heaven Sent tackles the Happy Goodman classic "What A Lovely Name."  It's another fine job by this talented group.  The next song on this project took me a while to identify but I finally realized it is a song that CrossWay recorded a few years ago.  "The Long Arm Of Love" is a good song about the Love of Christ and this is a good version.  Another Goodmans song is next and the version of "I Believe He's Coming Back" is a good one.  The project ends with the popular song "Days Of Elijah."

Heaven Sent is talented group and I am glad that I had to chance to hear them on this project!  The group has a quality sound and a great selection of songs on this project.  My favorite songs on this project are "New Day Dawning," "I've Been Looking For The Lights Of That City" and "I've Never Been This Homesick Before."  The project is very good and it will be enjoyed by Heaven Sent fans for years to come.  For more information on the group visit www.heavensentnc.com.
