When it comes to longevity in Southern Gospel Music, very few people can top the Inspirations.  The group has been singing a long time and there is very little in Southern Gospel Music that they have not accomplished.  Their latest project is titled "Things Are Different Now" but the great quality music has not changed a bit!

"All Washed Away" is the song they chose to start with on this project and it speaks in a rejoicing manner how our sins are all washed away!  The next song is "It's The Cross That Carries Me" and you will love this song!  This song really says it just like it is! I love the next song.  It is titled "That's Just God (Doing What He Does)."  The song reminds us of all of the great things that God does.

The Inspirations can always be counted on to do some old songs and I love their version of "I'll Have A New Life."  "Time Always Changes But God Never Will" preaches a message in the title!  The song is even better!  The next song is titled "Old Campmeeting Time" and while it almost sounds like an old song, I believe it is a new one.  Either way, it is a good song about those old campmeeting days. Another beautiful, old song is next and I love hearing this group sing "In The Shelter Of His Arms."

"My Lord's Been Walking" is a Luther Presley song that fits the Inspirations to  tee!  The next song has been sung by groups like the Booth Brothers and the Old Friends Quartet.  The Inspirations version of "Glory To God In The Highest" is right up there on that same level.  "It's Different Now" is the final song and the title song.  The message speaks of how our life different once the Savior touches us.

This is a high quality project from the Inspirations.  I enjoyed each of the songs and each song has a different theme and message and all of those messages are strong ones.  The production and vocals are great and even the childhood photos of the group on the inside of the CD jacket is a nice touch!  My favorite songs from the project are "Time Always Changes But God Never Will," "I'll Have A New Life" and "It's Different Now."  The entire project is first class, just the Inspirations have been for decades.  For more information  visit www.theinspirations.com
