When I was asked to help with the reviews, I must admit that I had no idea what I was going to say.  Scott agreed to let me start with a group I was familiar with!  The Kingdom Heirs are one of the finest groups in Southern Gospel Music today and one of my favorite groups as well.  Their latest project is pure quartet singing, the way it is supposed to be!

"Since Jesus Moved In" is a Dianne Wilkerson song that reminds us of the awesome change that we find when Jesus moves into our heart!  "The Rock's Between The Hard Place And You" is the group's current radio single and this fast paced song is a great play on a popular expression and a great message.  "True To The Call" is the title cut from the project and the tempo slows down on this song.  What an awesome song about a calling from God.  "I Am The Way" is some great bass singing and some great quartet singing! 

Dianne Wilkerson was a big contributor to this project and I am not sure that anyone writes quartet songs better than she does!  She contributed "I Want You To Know" and it showcases the quartet again with the song letting God know that we want to be used by Him.  "Jesus Made A Believer Out Of Me" is a song that it is a bit different but it's another good one.  "Looking Out For You" is a Gerald Crabb song that is another terrific one.  It reminds us that God is always looking out for us!

"Praying Your Troubles Away" sounds like an old fashioned song but the new song shows the quartet stylings of this group again and it has the message of the power of the prayer.  "Lord Your Word Is Still True" is the next song and it reminds us that His Word is true.  "What We Needed" slows the pace down again but this beautiful song has an awesome message of how the only thing we need is the Savior!  The final song on the project is an old Kingsmen song written by Squire Parsons.  You will enjoy hearing Arthur Rice sing that great song again!

The Kingdom Heirs prove again on this project why many consider them the top quartet in Southern Gospel Music.  The quartet sings some beautiful harmonies on this project and the song selection is simply awesome with a healthy dose of eight Dianne Wilkerson songs!  My favorite songs from the project are "Since Jesus Moved In," "Praying Your Troubles Away" and True To The Call."  The entire project is simply incredible and I recommend getting a copy as soon as possible!  For more information visit www.kingdomheirs.com.
