Mark Bishop
has been singing and writing songs for a
long time. I have been a fan of
Mark's writing since I first began
hearing his songs with The Bishops.
He remains a talented soloist and a top
notch songwriter and his latest project
includes ten awesome and new Mark Bishop
songs.
"Abundant
Sunshine" is the title of the project
and of the first song. It is a
uniquely written song as many of Mark's
are. The message is terrific.
"This Is Where Needed Things Are Found"
is a song that tells an all too familiar
story in this world but it also reminds
us that in Jesus, we can find whatever
we need. "I Can Think Of One" is a
really cool song the way Mark put it
together. "Put Wings Upon Your
Problem" is the current hit single from
this project. It reminds us of the
power in prayer!
"Thomas Why
Do You Doubt" is the next song and it
runs through the story of the doubting
Thomas! The next song on the
project is titled "You Get Back Each
Single Minute." This is a touching
song that you need to listen to a couple
of times to get the message of. It
is a great song though and deserves the
time to listen to it! The tempo
picks up as "God's Got A Whole Lot Of
Love" is sung by Mark. You will
love this upbeat song.
"The
Patience Of The Angels" is one of those
Mark Bishop ballads that we have been
listening to for years. "Mean Mean
People" is an interesting song title and
it reminds us that we need to show a
little more love towards others in our
daily life. The next song is
titled "Written On A Tree" and it is a
song that will touch you. The
final song is the final verse of
"Abundant Sunshine."
It seems
that with each new project, Mark
Bishop's ministry grows just a little
more. This project is an awesome
collection of Mark Bishop written and
performed songs. Mark has a very
unique and recognizable style to his
writing and singing and it shines
through on "Abundant Sunshine." My
favorite songs from the project are
"God's Got A Whole Lot Of Love," "I Can
Think Of One" and "You Get Back Each
Single Minute." This project is
first class all of the way from the
songs to the performances to the
production and artwork. For more
