The McKameys continue to be one of the more popular groups in Southern Gospel Music.  Their music is always consistently the same and this project is vintage McKameys.

The project begins with a great old hymn.  It is always great to hear "My Jesus I Love Thee."  "It Takes Time" is the next song and I am not sure who the lead singer is but the song is a good one and the message is awesome as it talks of how we need to take time to read God's Word each day.  "You Are With Me" reminds us that God is with us no matter where we go.

"Sweet Victory" is a quicker song that reminds us how sweet the victory is over our trials when we allow God to win the victory for us.  "Secrets" is a unique song that reminds us that no matter what we keep from our friends and relatives, God knows all of our secrets.  "Sing A Song About The Lamb" features Ruben and was written by Bobby Clark.  "You're Still God" is probably destined to be on of those huge McKamey songs.  It reminds us that no matter what we go through that God is still God and He is holding us through our trial.

"Wait For The Morning Light" is another Bobby Clark song and it is another song of hope and encouragement.  "It's All Good" is another fast paced song that is very enjoyable.  It remind us that everything God has given us is good!  The project winds up with "Telling The Old Story." 

This project is exactly what we have come to expect from the McKameys.  A project full of very strong songs with a lot of songs of encouragement and hope for the Christian sung in the unique McKameys style.  McKameys fans will be thrilled with new project and they will probably gain a few new fans as well!  My favorite songs from the project are "You're Still God," "It's All Good" and "Telling The Old Story."  For more information on the McKameys visit www.mckameysonline.com.
