Mercy's Well is a group that I have slightly heard of but I had never heard any of their music until this CD arrived at the SG Music Forum offices.  Their sound is a bit progressive but I enjoy the sound and music very much.  Their latest CD is "Skywriting" and it is a very good one.

"The Sun Will Shine Again" is a wonderful anthem to those going though a trial.  The song reminds us that a brighter day is right around the bend!  "Unspeakable Joy" is a song that reminds us of the joy we will have in our lives if we follow God.  "More Than I Deserve" is a slow song that has a beautiful message.  It reminds us that God's Love is so much more than any of us deserve.  "This Could Be" kicks up the tempo a bit as the song celebrates that this could be the day that God calls all of us Home!

"Water Walkin'" is the next song and reminds us to be constantly listening for God's prompting and stepping out in faith when we follow God's Calling.  "I'll See You Soon" is a song with an absolutely beautiful message.  It speaks of how we, as Christians, will see our loved again.  "Live A Lot" is another up tempo song that you will really enjoy!  The song has a unique message but it's a very good one!

"Man Of God" is a song that describes the type of person that we should all aspire to be.  "He Said Yes" is a slow ballad that speaks of how God is there to hear our questions and to answer yes.  As the title might suggest "I'm Gonna Take A Ride" is an upbeat song.  It is an old Speers classic song that Mercy's Well does a fine job on.  The final song on the project is "When God Ran" and I must admit, the title intrigued me just a bit.  Of course, God never runs from anything but He did run to us when we came Home to Him!  A great song and a great message.

Mercy's Well is a very talented trio that has a great recording here.  The group has a nice sound and the production on the project is outstanding.  The eleven songs that were chosen are all a great fit for the group and they are all performed very well.  My favorite songs from the project are "The Sun Will Shine Again," "I'm Gonna Take A Ride" and "I'll See You Soon."  There are many songs on this project that could be favorites!  This may have been my first project from this group but I hope it is not my last!  For more information visit www.mercyswell.com.
