Messiah's
Messengers is a group that is not far
from our offices here in Lancaster, PA.
They are celebrating their 35th year of
singing and this project has some great
songs on it. Most of the songs you
will recognize and you will enjoy them
and be blessed by them.
There is an
obvious Cathedrals influence on this
group and "Boundless Love" is one of my
favorite songs fro that group.
This version is good too! "Nail It
To The Cross" is a great Marcia Henry
song that is next on the project.
"It's Not What's Over The Door" is a
great song that reminds us that your
personal relationship with Christ is
what counts, not what church you go to.
"I Thirst" is a song written by Bev
Lowry with a great message.
"I Don't
Want To Live No More" is a song that I
have not heard in years. I love
that song and I enjoyed this version by
Messiah's Messengers. "Gentle
Shepherd" is a great Gaither classic
that I love. "I Stand Redeemed" is
the next song on the project and it's
followed by a popular song from the
1990's, "I Wish It Would Rain."
"There Is A Remedy" is a song by the
McRaes and it is a great one!
The next
song on the project is "Gonna Ride That
Glory Cloud" and it is an awesome song.
I love the fast paced songs and this is
one of the best. I love the old
hymns of the church and one of my
favorites is "In The Garden." I
love the version of this hymn by
Messiah's Messengers. "That's What
Grace Is For" is a wonderful song and
the final song on the project is the
great song, "When I Get Carried Away."
Messiah's
Messengers is a group that has great
consistency. They have been around
for 35 years ministering the Gospel in
song. This project is a great
celebration of this group and has a lot
of great music to celebrate with!
It was recorded at Harvest Field Studio
with Tim James and the quality is
excellent. My favorite songs from
the project are "Boundless Love," "In
The Garden" and "That's What Grace Is
For." It's a great celebration,
here is wishing them another 35 great
years! |
