New Joy was a brand new group to me when I put this project in my player.  I quickly found out that New Joy is a very talented group and I was in for some listening enjoyment.

"God's Good Enough" is an upbeat song that starts off the project in a great way.  "Heaven Stood Silent" is a great slow melody with a very strong message.  "Over My Head" picks up the pace once again and this song reminds us what God can do for us.

"You Raised A Mighty Good Son" is the title song of the project and it is a good song.  "I Am Forgiven" is a wonderful song that paints a picture of God's Forgiveness.  "Mama I'm Home" is the next song that is on the project and it heads to one of the best songs on the project.  "Goodbye" is a great song that reminds us of the importance of witnessing and being a witness each and every day.

"Great Big God" is an up tempo song that celebrates the power and the bigness of God!  Speaking of fast paced songs, "Going Home To Live" fits the bill as this song speaks of the day the Christian passes on from this earth and goes to Heaven to live!  "Heartbeat" is the final song on the project and it's another good song.

New Joy is a very talented group and I think most Southern Gospel Music Fans will enjoy their music.  Their vocal abilities are good and the song selection on this project is also good.  My favorite songs from the project are "Going Home To Live," "Goodbye" and "Heaven Stood Silent."  The entire project is good and New Joy has a new fan in me!  For more information visit their website at www.newjoytrio.com.
