One Focus is a trio that I am just now becoming familiar with.  The group sent their recent to CD to us for review and we are so glad they did.  They are a very talented trio that I am sure most of our listeners will love!

Right off the bat I can see that they have a talented songwriter in the group.  Group member, Chrystal Dorrell wrote nine of the eleven songs on the project.  "So That All The World Will Know Him" is the first song and the upbeat tempo also delivers an upbeat message.  "I Will Go" is a great song about the saving Grace of Jesus.  "Reconciled" reminds the listener that God on the Cross reconciled the sinner with Christ forever.  "For Whosoever Will" picks up the tempo a bit and it reminds of the difference God will make in your life when you choose Him.

"We'll See You Again" is a song of hope for anyone who has ever lost a loved one to death.  What a great message and thought in this song.  "Stronger" is a neat song that talks about how when we go through a trial, we come out the other side of it stronger than ever!  "God Spoke" is another up tempo song that talks about the power in God's voice during the creation of the world.

"When Jesus Speaks The Words" was written by Brian Geddes and is a beautiful song of hope for those going through a trial.  "His Hour" is the next song and it leads right to another great song from Brian Geddes.  "Worth It All" reminds us that no matter what we might be going through, it is all worth it when we see Christ.  "I'll Be There Voice" is the final song on the project and is a song speaking out against abortion.

One Focus is a very enjoyable group and I think all who hear them will enjoy them.  They have a traditional sound that might lean slightly towards progressive.  My favorite songs from this project are "So That All The World Will Know Him," "Reconciled" and "When Jesus Speaks The Words."  The entire project is good quality and will enjoyed by all who hear it.  For more information visit www.onefocustrio.com.
