The Patriot
Quartet is a group that I have heard of
for a few years but I have not had the
opportunity to hear their music until
now. They are a talented male
quartet and I enjoyed their latest
project where they sing some quartet
classics.
"When I
Cross To The Other Side Of Jordan"
qualifies as a classic and the Patriot
Quartet does a nice job with this upbeat
song. "He's A Personal Savior" is
a favorite of mine from over the years
and the guys do a fine job with this
song. "I Can Feel The Touch Of His
Hand" is a slow and beautiful song
written by JD Sumner. This version
is a good one.
"The
Sweetest Song I Know" is another
favorite of mine and I love to hear it
sung well. This version is very
good. "Land Of Endless Perfect
Day" is a another classic song that you
will likely recognize and enjoy.
Mosie Lister wrote a lot of great songs
and "Where No One Stands Alone" is
one of them. That song is next on
the project and sets up another classic.
"Glory Road" is an awesome song that I
have heard hundreds of groups sing.
This version by the Patriot Quartet is a
good one.
"I'll Have
A New Life" is a true male quartet
classic. The bass singer seems to
take center stage on this favorite and
the Patriot Quartet does a fine job
handling this song. "Justice
Called And Mercy Answered" is the next
classic song that the Patriot Quartet
sings. The final song on this
project is a classic hymn titled "Room
At The Cross."
There is no
way you can argue with the song
selection on this project. There
are ten classic songs on this project
that you will likely recognize and the
Patriot Quartet handles all of them with
class and talent. The versions of
these songs are traditional and they are
all performed very well. My
favorites from this project are "He's A
Personal Savior," "Where No Stands
Alone" and "The Sweetest Song I Know."
This is a great project from a very
talented quartet that I am certain you
will enjoy. For more information,
