Sherri Farmer is an artist that we have received projects from in the past and we can always count on a solid project from Sherri.  Her latest project is another good one.

The project starts out with an upbeat tune titled "Lift Up Your Eyes" but it was track number two that caught my ear!  The second track is "Footloose And Free" and it is a great upbeat track written by Gerald Crabb.  The song has an outstanding message reminding us what God can and will do for us.  "Broken" slows things down quite a bit but this Rebecca J. Peck song is a beautiful melody with a great message.

"Keep Drinking Water From The Well" is another upbeat song.  The next song is a song that you are probably familiar with if you grew up in church.  Sherri's version of "This Is My Father's World" is a very good one.  "Will There Be Any Stars" is an old song that Sherri does a fine job on.  "Feet Of Clay" is the next song and it seems to sound familiar from somewhere!  At any rate, it is a good song with a very strong message.

"Solitary Place" is a beautiful song that reminds all of that we need to have that quiet place that we can all go to meet and talk with God.  "I Know" is another fine song from this project.  The song was written by Tery Wilkins and Greg Bentley and speaks of how we as Christians know all of the great and wonderful things that Christ has done.  The final song on the project is the title song of the project.  "Sowin' Seeds" reminds us of all of the seeds that have been sown for the Kingdom over the years.

This project is another terrific effort from Sherri.  The entire project is a very good effort from all sides.  The vocal performances are top notch and the production is good.  The song selection is also very good and it all adds up to a very good project.  My favorite songs from the project are "Footloose And Free," "I Know" and "Solitary Place."  The entire project is a top notch effort and I highly recommend it!  For more information visit www.sherrifarmer.com.
