Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

This is the second recent project from Randy Simpson.  Randy is a soloist from Carlisle, PA and is greatly talented.  This project has ten great songs and you will enjoy each of them.  I have known Randy for quite a while now and Randy is one of my best friends in the Southern Gospel Music industry.  However, Randy is also a talented singer and this project will prove that over and over again.

The project begins with a classic Southern Gospel song titled “Step Into The Water.”  This song was recorded by the Cathedrals many years ago and Randy does a wonderful job on this classic song.  Another old Cathedral song is next and Randy does a fantastic job singing “Somebody Touched Me.”  The song is a great reminded of what Jesus’ touch can do in our life.  A great up-tempo song titled “Let’s All Go Down To The River” is next on the project and I love Randy’s version of this song.

There are several great song writers in the history of Southern Gospel Music.  One of the finest to ever write was Rusty Goodman.  Randy recorded “Leavin’ On My Mind” which is one of many great songs from Rusty.  What a great song about looking forward to going to Heaven.  Randy sings another Cathedral song next but this is, perhaps, one of their lesser known songs.  The song is titled “Don’t It Make You Wanna Go Home” and it is another great song about wanting to go home to Heaven.  The next song is an original song that Randy wrote.  “Tomorrow Looks Good” is a wonderful song that will encourage any listener that is going through a trial or tribulation.  Randy captures the hope that Christian’s find in Christ and in a brand new day extremely well in this song.  Another fast paced song is next and “He Was On The Line” is a great song that reminds us that Jesus is always there when we call on Him.

One of my favorite songs in the history of Southern Gospel Music is “He Didn’t Throw The Clay Away.”  The song was originally recorded by the Lesters and has been recorded by numerous groups and soloists since.  The song has a wonderful message of the work that God can do in a life.  Randy’s version of this song is as good as any other version I have ever heard and I enjoyed it.  “Inside Out” is the next song on the project and this song is a wonderful song about the joy, peace, love and charity that comes from the inside out when you are a Christian.  Randy ends the project with the Bill and Gloria Gaither classic, “Going Home.”  That song has always been a favorite of mine and I enjoyed Randy’s version.

Randy Simpson is a talented singer and has been performing Southern Gospel Music for a couple of decades.  He has recorded numerous projects over those years and this project is another in a long line of quality projects and music recorded by Randy.  This project has several recognizable songs and one original song written by Randy.  My favorite songs from this project are “Tomorrow Looks Good,” “Inside Out” and “He Didn’t Throw The Clay Away.” I have listened to this project numerous times and you will enjoy it and be blessed by it immensely.  If you enjoy traditional Southern Gospel Music performed by a talented soloist, I highly recommend this project to you.  For more information on Randy Simpson, visit his website at www.randysimpson.org.
