Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Southern Gospel USA Flashbacks Radio Show Debuts PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 02 July 2013 20:59

Flashbacks is the new radio show from Southern Gospel USA that features great music from the most popular Southern Gospel artists dating back to the 1970's.  If you enjoy hearing songs performed by Gold City, Cathedrals, Kingsmen, Nelons, Hinsons, Singing Americans, Greater Vision, Karen Peck & New River, Gaither Vocal Band, and many more, then you have found the program tailor-made for you!

Flashbacks is hosted by multi-award winning Gospel broadcaster Gary Wilson.  The new show is sponsored by Gary's other company, The Scrubs Report, an Online source for medical news and information for cities across America.

Flashbacks is produced for our listeners, and is unique for a number of reasons.  Each Flashbacks program is commercial-free and nearly 1 hour in length... wall-to-wall music!  Every show features a different set of songs... No song repeats... Guaranteed!

So many great songs have been boxed and stored... out of sight, out of mind... rarely, if ever, played.  Flashbacks rescues these old songs and brings them to the forefront once again!

Flashbacks features chart hits, album extras, and songs performed by these artists at concerts, but not released to radio.  It will not take long for you to hear songs that you have not heard in years!  If you are like me, many of these old songs will bring back some very good memories in your life!

A new program is uploaded every Monday and positioned on the Homepage.  All shows are available on our Archives page and available for you On-Demand, 24/7.

About the host:

On April 13, 1987, Gary walked into WRMT in his Rocky Mount, North Carolina hometown, for his first Southern Gospel USA program.  His program became very popular for two main reasons; Great music, and listener participation with his variety of trivia contests.  Listener response was overwhelming!  It was not unusual for Gary to receive 300+ phone calls per night, response unheard of for a 1000 Watt AM radio station.  The weekly 2-hour program quickly expanded to 5 hours nightly.

Soon, Gary decided to syndicate his program.  He purchased the basic equipment necessary to produce his program and began contacting stations across the country.  Southern Gospel USA was broadcast on over 100 stations in the United States and Canada.  In addition, it was broadcast worldwide on the American Forces Radio Network, and on XM Radio.

To date, Gary Wilson has received 6 awards for Gospel broadcasting from various organizations, including Singing News Magazine.  In 1990, Gary was inducted into his college Hall of Fame for his broadcasting accomplishments.

In 2000, Gary moved to Nashville, Tennessee... his "adopted hometown".  Gary had traveled to Nashville on many occasions and fell in love with the city,  The time was finally right to make the move.

In 2006, Gary began working with a company that published healthcare newspapers.  He became very successful and was offered a promotion and a huge pay raise.  The only catch was he had to leave his beloved Nashville and relocate to Tampa, Florida.

Several months after making the move, Gary was involved in a terrible automobile accident that left him severely injured and unable to work at the level at which he was accustomed.  The company was in a cost-cutting mode, and well, you can figure out the rest.  The company for whom Gary had sold almost $500,000 in advertising basically threw Gary overboard.  So, in Florida without a job and a car that looked more like an accordion, Gary jumped into survival mode.

The other party was at fault, but the settlement was a joke.  Gary found out what a racket the insurance/attorney system can be.  Still in survival mode, Gary began to put his full attention into building an idea he had been semi-developing.  He learned basic wed design and soon built the framework for The Scrubs Report, an Online medical news source.

The years of personal and professional turmoil began to take its toll.  In 2011, Gary began feeling numbness in his right side.  He was unable to move his right arm or leg.  This lasted for about 20 minutes.  Then, it appeared to become normal again.  Five times during the day, Gary experienced these episodes.  By the time he reached the ER late that afternoon, he was still having stroke-like symptoms and his blood pressure was 201/179.  The doctor was not certain a stroke had occurred, but blood pressure as high as Gary was experiencing could cause symptoms that mimic a stroke.  Today, everything appears to be normal.

Words cannot express how much Gary missed producing his radio show and being a part of the Southern Gospel music industry.  He developed is new show, Flashbacks, and began producing shows in May 2013.

This is something Gary plans to do as long as the Good Lord gives him breath.
