Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Johnathan Bond, of Young Harmony, has been a personal friend of mine for several years now.  I have spent some time with Johnathan over the years and there is no doubt that God uses him in very unique and a very great way!  In fact, God has used Johnathan to help me through some difficulties in my life, even though Johnathan likely never knew it.  Anyone who is familiar with Johnathan has probably heard some of his testimonies.  Well, Johnathan has just released two more projects each one having five testimonies and five songs on it.  This review is on “Testimonies Volume 2.”

The first cut on the project is a testimony titled “Food … Again.”  I have heard this testimony before I love it!  This is a great example of God leading a Christian to someone in need!  What a great testimony that resulted in two new believers in Christ.  I love the statement that Johnathan makes that says “God is bigger than we give Him credit for.”  Amen to that!  This testimony leads to one of my favorite Young Harmony songs, “God Has Not Forgotten You.”  Whew, what a message in that great song!  No matter what you are going through, you can be sure that God has not forgotten you and He is well aware of your circumstances and what you are going through.

The next testimony is titled “Mall Maniac.”  I love this testimony and I always enjoy the humor of Johnathan and he and I seem to share the same talent of putting our foot in our mouth!  LOL!  As this testimony unfolds and it reminds us that God can use us as long as we are willing to let Him use us!  This testimony leads into the song “God Can Do It.”  This was always a favorite of mine too as it reminds us that God will make a way through anything and with God nothing is impossible.

“Letting Go” is the next testimony on the project.  This is the story of a lady who had attempted suicide and was extremely depressed.  This is a reminder of how important it is to let go of the sins of your past!  That is a lesson that every single Christian needs to learn.  It is even more difficult to let go of those sins that we commit after becoming a Christian.  This testimony appropriately leads into the song titled “Let It Go.”  What an amazing song!  It reminds us that we need to let go of our past and allow God to help us to move forward!

The next testimony on the project is “Behind The Wheel.”  This is another testimony in which Johnathan mixes some humor in attending driving school but ends it with a serious message and how it allowed Johnathan to pass out several projects and how many of those projects brought fruit.  It reminds us how a dumb decision, if we refocus on Jesus, can lead to some amazing ministry opportunities.  “Movin’ On” is the song that follows this testimony and this song just simply reminds us that we, as Christians are all just moving on to Heaven!

The final testimony on this project is “Just Gonna Have Faith.”  I have heard this testimony before and even live in concert and I enjoy this awesome store that Johnathan tells about his daughter.  The belief and the innocence of youth id exhibited perfectly in this testimony and anyone who hears it will be blessed by it!  The song that follows is “That’s Why We’re The Church.”  What a wonderful song and what a great reminder that we as Christians should never ignore those Christians that have fallen from the faith!  We must always remember to love those people and to help to restore them to the fold.  I am grateful for the many people that I have met that live that every single day!

I said before that Johnathan Bond is a friend of mine.  I have seen Johnathan minister many times.  What I really love about Johnathan is that he is the same person on stage as he is in a restaurant or on a bus or in a conversation on the phone.  I have not seen that genuine spirit very many times in Southern Gospel Music.  Johnathan has a true heart for ministry and for helping people.  This project will bless you and encourage you every single time you listen to it.  It has five incredible testimony and five wonderful songs.  Each of them will bless you.  My favorite songs from the project are “God Has Not Forgotten You,” “God Can Do It” and “That’s Why We’re The Church.”  It is a great project that every single person should have!  For more information on Johnathan, visit his website at www.youngharmony.com.
