About a year and a half ago I became aware of a very talented young lady.  Her name is Lindsey Graham and she just came out with another solo project that is nothing short of amazing!  We reviewed Lindsey’s previous project on this website and it is hard to imagine that she could improve upon that but she did!  The project is titled “Jesus Is Alive” and fasten your seat belts because the music on the recording will give you one blessing after another!

The project begins with the title track of “Jesus Is Alive” and Lindsey does a wonderful job singing the message of this song which proclaims the awesome message that Jesus is alive and He has Risen!  The next song on this project is “You Are God Alone” and this slow, melodic song reminds us that there is nothing else like God and He is on the throne in the good times and the bad.  “Defender” is the next song on this recording and it reminds us that Jesus Christ is our defender in all things no matter what we might be facing.  Next on the project we find a song titled “This Blood.”  This is one of the better songs that I have ever heard about the Blood of Jesus Christ.  What a great song and message about the Blood of Jesus and the Blood that gave us life!

Lindsey sings a wonderful arrangement of the hymn “The Solid Rock” and I love it when an artist record an old hymn!  This is one of my favorite hymns and Lindsey does a great job singing it and reminding us that Jesus Christ is the solid rock that we stand upon!  “Oh The Deep Deep Love” is the next song on this project and Lindsey does a brilliant job singing this song reminding us of the deep love of Jesus.  The next song is simply titled “Blessing” but the message in this beautiful song is a wonderful one about how God brings our blessings to us and how sometimes those blessings might just be in our trials.  It is a wonderfully crafted song that will encourage and bless you many, many times.  I have always been a huge fan of songs about the message and the power of the Cross and Lindsey’s next song is “Lead Me To The Cross.”  This song is a prayer set to music and it is a beautiful message.

Next on the project is “Great Is The Lord Almighty” and this upbeat song is a great reminder of wonderful things that God has done and it does a great job of praising the Lord for His greatness!  “Jesus Draw Me Nearer” is an outstanding song and plea to the Lord to draw us nearer to Him as we go through a storm.  What a great song of encouragement to the listener.  Lindsey records another great old hymn next with “Victory In Jesus.”  I have always loved this song and Lindsey does a terrific job singing this classic hymn.  The final song on this project is a well-known one.  “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” is the song and Lindsey sings this song as well as I have ever heard it sung!  I absolutely loved this version!

Lindsey Graham quite simply has one of the finest voices in Southern Gospel Music today.  Her soaring soprano voice and incredible delivery style makes for an amazing sound.  This project has twelve songs that are all strong in message, performed to perfection and produced brilliantly.  My favorite songs from this project are “Blessing,” “The Solid Rock” and “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone).”  Lindsey Graham is in an elite group of singers and is one of the finest female soloists you will find singing today.  You should get a copy of this recording today and be blessed by the ministry of Lindsey Graham!  For more information on Lindsey, visit her website at www.lindseygrahamministries.com.
