Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Project Title: Self Titled

Southern Gospel Music is full of talented male quartets and I always enjoy getting a project from a talented male quartet that I have never heard of!  Actually, I had heard one song from Keeps Of The Faith, it was their current radio single which is on this project but for the most part, I was completely un familiar with this group until their self-titled project arrived in my mailbox!

The project begins with an upbeat song titled “Somebody Sing.”  It is a great quartet song encouraging us to sing a song about Jesus!  Next on the project is a true classic hymn titled “He Hideth My Soul.”  It has been ages since I heard this song and I loved hearing it again.  What a great reminder that God does hide our soul in the cleft of the rock and He covers us with His Hand protecting us from all harm.  The guys do a great job singing this great, old hymn.  The next cut on the project is titled “Life’s Journey.”  This song has a terrific message that we should trust Jesus Christ with all of our life’s journey.  The song encourages the listener to give their life over to Christ if they have not already done so and that is the greatest message that you will ever find in any song.

That radio single that I mentioned in my opening paragraph is next.  Now, the song has one of the more unusual titles you will find for a Gospel song.  It is titled “Strawberry Pie” but the song is actually about that wonderful trip we will make to Heaven someday!  A classic song that was made popular by the Cathedrals is next and Keepers Of The Faith did a wonderful job singing “Then Came The Morning.”  I have always loved that song and I enjoyed hearing it again.  Another classic quartet song is next as the guys tackle “When I Get Carried Away.”  I have heard more versions of this song than I could probably count but this version was a good one and I never get tired of hearing this great song!  The tempo slows down tremendously on the next song.  It is titled “In The Storm” and what an amazing message in this song!  It reminds us that no matter how much the storm we are in rages around us, God will see us through and I love the line that says “I’d rather be in the storm with Him than in calm waters alone.”  What a great thought and a very true statement!

“He Came Down To My Level” is a song that the Gaither Vocal Band recorded a number of years and I don’t think that I have heard it in a few years.  Keepers Of The Faith have a good version of this song and I enjoyed.  “Lord Don’t Ever Lose Your Hold On Me” is a slow and beautiful melody with a plea to our Savior to not ever lose the hold He has on us.  The final song on the project is “He Showed Me A Cross.”  This wonderful song is a great reminder what kind of power the Cross of Calvary has!  It is a beautiful song and message.

Keepers Of The Faith is a very solid quartet.  They have a good selection of songs on this project mixing in some classic songs with some songs that are a little less familiar.  The group does an outstanding job on all of the songs and I know the listener will enjoy the recording and be blessed by it.  My favorite songs from the project are “Strawberry Pie,” “In The Storm” and “Somebody Sing.”  I really enjoyed this project from Keepers Of The Faith and if you are not already familiar with this group, you should check these guys out!  You will enjoy them!  For more information on Keepers Of The Faith, visit their website at www.keepersofthefaithministry.com.
