Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Ten amazing songs are contained on this project by Mercy's Well.  With just a light piano accompaniment, the voices provide the music in this project.  What awesome voices too!  Three men totally souled out for the Lord sing in a very tight harmony.  The first song “Hallelujah (Your Love is Amazing)” is a beautiful song describing the multiple facets of God’s Love.  It is sufficient to carry us when times are rough.  It is also God’s love that makes us sing, especially, singing praises unto HIM!

“Holy” is the next song. To call it a song, is a misnomer.  It is a medley, and a beautiful one at that.  The medley starts off with the traditional hymn “Holy, Holy, Holy.”  However, never sung this majestically before (that is heard by this reviewer!)  Then a more modern song talking about the Holy Spirit is welcome “in this place.”  The last of the medley is the traditional hymn “Holy Ground.”  Wow!  What a fantastic medley sung in a very tight harmony and a awesome message to go with it.

“Blessed Be Your Name” is song number 3 on Mercy Well’s project.  With a strong string instrumental accompaniment, this song reminds me of a folk song with the clear focus on the Lord.  It reminds us how Blessed the Lord’s name is, and not just Blessed which translated means “happy” but the Lord’s name is Holy and not to be taken lightly or in vain.  Wonderful song featuring solo and three part harmony work.

The next song on this project is titled “Beautiful Terrible Cross.”  One of my favorites on this project (I say one of my favorites if I had to pick favorites; ALL of the songs are awesome!)  this song is a reminder of what Jesus did for us on the cross.  Amazing plan that our sovereign God had to send His Son to the cross, the cross that is terrible because of the suffering and torture that Jesus received on it, but also beautiful in that without it, there would be no way to be redeemed to the Father.  The redemption could only come through the Son.  A truly beautiful song!

“How Marvelous” the traditional hymn, is redone in more of a “country” flare.  Just a reminder of how marvelous is the Lord’s Love for us, and that Love was manifested in Jesus dying for us on the cross at Calvary.  Jesus’ Love for us is both marvelous and wonderful, Amen!

The sixth song on this project is “In Christ Alone-His Strength is Perfect.”  Two of my favorite verses come to mind with this powerful, yet beautiful song:  1) My life verse “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13, and 2) “His strength is made perfect in our weakness” 2 Corinthians 12:9.  The world tells us to look to ourselves or look in ourselves for our strength.  For the Christian, the Holy Spirit indwells us, and so in some respects, that is correct, although I am most sure that is not what the world had in mind.  A wonderful song, this song was an encouragement to me.

“Oh How He Loves You and Me” comes next.  This songs starts off as a contemporary song, and transitions to the more traditional hymn, “Oh How He Loves You and Me.”  His shed blood is a reminder of just how much Jesus loves us.

“The Rocks Shall Not Cry Out-Let the Rocks Remain Silent” is one of the peppier songs on this project and has a bluesy yet traditional Southern Gospel tone to it.  The Bible talks about if the people will not sing the praises of the Lord, that the rocks (representing creation) will sing the praises of the Lord.  Yet, while we have breath to lift our voice to the Lord, we will praise and sing out the song of the Lord, before the rocks and creation, they will have their turn!  A neat song for sure!

The second to last title on this project is “Mighty to Save.”  God knows that He is God.  His plan is perfect.  He is on His throne.  His Power is second to none.  Strong harmony and string instrumental message to proclaim the awesomeness of God and that He is God alone, unchangeable, unshakeable, unstoppable and not to forget mighty to save, and save us from hell and destruction!

“How Great Thou Art” is just that, a traditional hymn presented in an arrangement that is very uplifting and encouraging.  Powerful harmonies throughout the song!  Very majestic!

A truly remarkable and professional project!  All songs on this project focus on the Lord, who He is, what He is, and that He is God that is Love but also just and sovereign.  This is difficult, but my top 3 songs on this project include:  “Beautiful Terrible Cross”, “The Rocks Shall Not Cry Out, The Rocks Shall Remain Silent” and “How Great Thou Art.” A very impressive project that contains a powerful and encouraging message throughout!  Praise the Lord!
