Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Artist: Browns
Project Title: Christmas Joy
Label: Independent
Producers: Tim James

The Browns have been singing quality Gospel Music for several years now.  In 2010, the group recorded a wonderful Christmas project titled “Christmas Joy” and it is a very good collection of Christmas music that the listeners will be enjoying for many more years.

The project begins with a true classic from the Christmas Season.  The song is “Let It Snow” and the Browns do a great job on this song.  Of course, living in the Northeast I am pretty accustomed to snow for Christmas and once we are settled in for the holiday, we are always ready to let it snow!  There are many themes associated with Christmas and peace is one of the more popular ones. The next song on the project is “Peace On Earth.”  The song starts out with some great instrumentals and then features some great harmony later in the song.  It is a beautiful arrangement and performance of one of the great sentiments of the Christmas season.  The popular Christmas song “Jingle Bells” is next and who doesn’t love to hear that song during the Christmas season?  One of my favorite songs at the Christmas Season is “Carol Of The Bells.”  The Browns have an outstanding instrumental version of this song and I know you will enjoy it!

I always appreciate the groups recording the great Christmas Carols too and the Browns recorded “What Child Is This” next on the project.  I have always loved the lyric of this song as it reminds just who that Child was that was born on that first Christmas morning.  Another of the Christmas favorites is next with “Sleigh Ride.”  This a fun song and if you have ever been on a sleigh ride, it will give you some great memories of that time!  “All Through The Silent Night” is the next track and what a beautiful medley of many of your favorite Christmas Carols that you will, without a doubt, know.

This project has a number of Christmas favorites on it and “Little Drummer Boy” is certainly in that list.  The version of this song on this project is a very good one!  The favorites just keep on coming as the Browns sing “Winter Wonderland” next.  Another great version of a classic Christmas song.  One of my all-time favorites of the classic Christmas songs is “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”  The version on this project is as good as I have ever heard of this song!  The final song on this project is an incredible medley of four wonderful songs.  The songs in the medley are “Ordinary Baby,” “Mary Did You Know,” “Oh Holy Night” and “Majesty.”  I love the songs in this medley and the arrangement and performance of this medley quickly made it a favorite!

The Browns have a keeper here!  This project has it all!  It has many of your Christmas favorites but also does a wonderful job of reminding us the reason we celebrate Christmas.  I have listened to this project about ten times now and each time I like even more!  My favorite songs on the project are “Peace On Earth,” “What Child Is This” and “Sleigh Ride.”  The project includes eleven cuts, many of your favorite Christmas songs, excellent production and instrumentation and, of course, outstanding vocal presentations from the Browns!  If you enjoy classic Christmas music, this is the project you should have.  For more information on the Browns, visit their website at www.thebrownsmusic.com.
