Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Three Bridges has been around a few years in Southern Gospel Music now and they have become well known for their high energy vocals and songs. Their Christmas project continues that trend as this brand new project for 2011 will bring you great joy this Christmas season.
“Christmas Must Be Tonight” gets the project off to a rousing start and sounds just like a classic Three Bridges style song. The song does a wonderful job proclaiming the message of the birth of Christ. I am always glad to see the Southern Gospel artists go back and get some of those classic Christmas songs that I grew up with. Three Bridges does that with the Irving Berlin classic, “White Christmas.” This might be a slightly different version than you are used to but it is enjoyable none the less. The current day Christmas Classic is next as the guys sing “Mary Did You Know.” Having heard many versions of this song I must say that I really enjoyed this version and the harmony pieces on it.

The Triumphant Quartet has been singing quality quartet music for a long time and there is no reason to believe that their Christmas project would be anything but high quality! This is another project that is not new this year but it is new to us here at the Southern Gospel Music Forum. There is a lot of great Christmas Music to be found on this project.
The project starts with the “Celebration Medley” This is a medley of some of the most well known Christmas Carols ever sung. Songs like “Hark The Herald Angels Sing,” “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” “Joy To the World” and many more. The second on the project is simply titled “Hallelujah” and this Christmas song does a wonderful job of proclaiming the birth of Christ! It is also a great quartet Christmas song. “Who Would Imagine A King” is next on the project and I love this great Christmas song. One of the newer Christmas classics is “Mary Wrapped A Present.” The guys do a wonderful job singing this song and conveying the great message of the wonderful gift that was given to the world that day.

Tim Parton is well known in Southern Gospel Music for his piano playing skills. He has played for groups such as Legacy Five, Gold City and The Lesters. I remember Tim from his early days with the Lesters and have always enjoyed his piano playing skills. His Christmas project is not new this year but the project is new to us here at the Southern Gospel Music Forum so that qualifies it for review on our website!
The project is titled “Simply Christmas” and it is a bit different from the normal recorded project. Tim has put together about one hour of music split up into six medleys. In this six medley, Tim plays parts of close to 40 Christmas songs ranging from the Christmas Carols we all grew up singing to the secular classics that have a place in everyone’s heart. The beauty of this project, as the title suggest, can be found in the simplicity of it. This is simply Tim sitting down at the piano and playing song after song for your enjoyment. As Tim says on the back of the CD case, “This is just Tim and his piano, relaxed and peaceful.” I cannot think of a better way to describe.

If you are looking for a unique project you need to look no further than the latest from the Triumphant Quartet. The title of the project is “Songs From The Heart” and the project is a collection of songs written by the group members of the Triumphant Quartet. Each member wrote two songs for the project and the end result is awesome in every way!
“Be Of Good Cheer” was written by Eric Bennett and Kirk Talley and this perfect quartet song reminds us to always be of good cheer in Christ because we are overcomers through the power of Christ. The next song on the project was written by Clayton Inman and is titled “Thank You Lord.” I love songs that remind us to thank the Lord for anything but this song thanks the Lord for the many things that He has done for us and you cannot ever find a greater subject than that! “Praying For Me” was written by David Sutton and this song is a thank you to those who are praying for me. The power of prayer is a mighty thing and it is an honor to have someone pray for you and this song expresses some of that.

Legacy Five has been one of the top male quartets in Southern Gospel Music since the hit the road! With the classic male quartet sound and the traditional arrangements and sound, they should remain near the top for quite a long time. The latest release from Legacy Five is another in a long line of high quality projects from these talented men.
“A Wonderful Life” is the name of the project and the name of the first song on it. What a great song reminding us of the many blessings that we can partake in each day on our daily walk with Jesus. The next song is titled “God Had A Hand In It” and this song reminds us that everything in our lives is orchestrated by God. The debut radio single from this project is “Ask Me Why” and it is easy to see why. What a great message in this song and especially the chorus where it proclaims “ask me why and I’ll tell you it’s love.” This song will bless you time and time again. Legacy Five is a male quartet so you would expect some great quartet songs and “Nobody Ever Loved Me Like God Does” certainly will qualify as that. It features great harmony and great vocals while still focusing on how great God’s Love is.
