Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Melissa Jo Elliott is a new artist to me but I am very impressed by this lady's ability to sing and deliver a song.  She comes from Florida with this brand new project that has ten wonderful songs that are sure to please and bless anyone who listens to it.

"He's A Sure Thing" get the project off to a rousing start reminding the listener that God is a sure thing when you invite Him into your heart and your life.  The next song is one of the great songs of encouragement that I have ever heard.  The title is "Help Is On The Way."  The song reminds us that God will help us through any trial and situation.  The title song is "I Know How To Fly" and this song is a uniquely crafted song by Gina Vera and Sue Smith.  The song has a beautiful message of remembering how God has helped up in the past and how He will continue to help us.

The Gracemen is a male quartet that I have known for quite a while.  They can always be counted on to produce and record a quality project.  This project is the latest in a line of several good ones.

The project starts off with the popular song "Strike Up The Band."  The guys do a good job on this song.  "Ain't That What It's All About" is the next song and this song does a nice job of reminding us that all Christians should have a primary goal of seeing souls saved.  "God Had A Plan" is an upbeat song written by group member Ralph Weekly.  This song is a well crafted song that reminds us of God's Plan that saved us from our sin.

Crabb Family -- The Hits ... LiveArtist: Crabb Family

The Crabb Family celebrated a long and successful career in Southern Gospel Music before many of the group members went their separate ways.  Daywind Music continues to release some Crabb Family music from time to time and it is fun to relive some of the great music that was sung by this group over the years.  What makes this project even better is that they are all live cuts of these popular songs.

"Don't You Wanna Go" was a huge song for the group and a fast moving song that will always get a crowd going!  The next song is "Sacrifice Of Praise," which was the only song on the project that I wasn't real familiar with.  It is a good song though!  "The Cross" is another crowd favorite song that you will enjoy hearing again.  One of the very first big songs that I remember from the Crabb Family was "The Lamb The Lion And The King."  That song is next and I loved hearing it again.

I have followed Rick Strickland's career for several years now.  Most of you probably know that he is a talented tenor singer.  I first remember him with the Kingdom Heirs and then with JD Sumner and the Stamps.  Currently, he is doing solo work.  Rick's solo project is an awesome effort that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

Many of the songs on the project will be familiar to the listener.  "I Will Worship You" sets the tone for the project as it puts the listener in a worshipful spirit.  "Look Up High" is a great song written by Kirk Talley that reminds us to keep on looking for Christ's Return! The next song on the project was one of my mom's favorite songs and I too love "Build My Mansion."  Rick does a great job singing the song.  "Jesus Saves" is an old song that I always enjoy hearing.  Rick is joined by Mary Ann Oglesby on this song and they blend their voices beautifully.

It seems like we get a lot of progressive Southern Gospel Music, bluegrass music and, of course, Southern Gospel Music here at the Southern Gospel Music Forum but we don't get a lot of Christian Country Music.  Ron Nagle does a fine job singing this style music and we were happy to receive another project from him.

"This Name" gets the project off to a rousing start with a fast paced song.  "I've Got You" slows it down a bit and reminds us how much better life is when we have Jesus in our life.  "Where Jesus Is" is the next song on the project and it is a unique song that you will enjoy.
