Final Harvest
Final Harvest is a ladies trio based in Rochester, NY and they still have dates available for 2017!!!! The message of Final Harvest: God will send to His Church an unquenchable fire. The wind of the Holy Spirit will cause it to burn hotter than on the day of Pentecost, and spread rapidly. It will spread with fury and devour all that is not holy. Then He will send the latter rain, wash away the dross, refresh and make new. The Glory of the Lord will be seen by the entire world and manifested through His Church. There begins the end time harvest.

Another one of the new artists that we recently received a project from is Jackie LeDuc.  Jackie is a female soloist that has recorded a good project that is likely to be enjoyed by many.

"Not Myself These Days" is an upbeat beginning to this project and you will enjoy the melody and the message of this song written by Kenna Turner.  "When He Sees Me" is the next song on the project and the message is a unique one that deserves a listen.  Things slow down tremendously as Jackie sings the song "Deliver Me From Myself" This song asks the Lord to save us from our sins and deliver us from ourselves.

The Mallonees are a new group to me.  The project was given to me by my business partner Mark Flanagan who ran into them at a concert and told me how good they were.  This project is a good one.

The project begins with "What A Lovely Name."  That song is a classic from the Happy Goodmans but this version is also quite enjoyable.  Another old hymn of the church is next and you will enjoy this version of "At The Cross."  Another old hymn of the church follows with "When We All Get To Heaven."  The next song was written by John Mallonee and "No One Else" is a beautiful song with a terrific message.

Someone asked me the other day how many different male quartets I have heard sing in my lifetime.  I honestly have no idea but I would have to guess the number is well into the hundreds.  I have always said that male quartet music is my favorite style although I do enjoy good harmony no matter who is singing it!  The latest in the long line of quartets that I have heard is Gold Harbor.  Their latest project recently arrived at our offices and I want to share it with you!

The project begins with a sing titled "Put God Back In America."  That is certainly a thought that no one can argue with.  The song is a good one that projects that message.  The next song is an old classic song titled "Farther Along."  Gold Harbor does a good job on it.  "In Christ Alone" is the next song and I believe that is a popular song in contemporary music.  This version is a good one.  The next song is titled "Child Of The King" and the last time I remember hearing that song is on a project by the Kingsmen a good number of years ago!  I enjoyed hearing it again and appreciate Gold Harbor recording it.

Caanan's Crossing is a group that we are quite familiar with around the Southern Gospel Music Forum offices.  We have reviewed their music before and have come to expect good things from them.

"Rain Falling Down" kicks off the project with a rousing start.  "Give Me A Song To Sing (In My Hour Of Greatest Need)" is a terrific song that reminds us that God will see us through all of our troubles and trials if we just trust Him.  "Praying" is the next song on the project and it reminds us of the power of prayer.  The next song on the project is "Battle Scarred Soldier" reminds to keep fighting on.

Back when Mark and I were starting our online radio station, I discovered a radio single from a group called Vocal Union.  I couldn't believe how great this a cappella group was and how they seemed to sing Southern Gospel Music so very well!  Recently, they sent me some more music for the station and that included their latest project which is outstanding!

"Just Like The Old Days" is the name of the project and the first song.  It's an upbeat song that you will enjoy as it reminds us of "singing His Praises just like the old days!"  The next song is no stranger to Southern Gospel fans.  Vocal Union does a wonderful job on "Get Away Jordan."  I'm not sure you have truly heard this song until you have heard an a cappella version of it.  Christmas is next!  At least a Christmas song is next.  The guys do a great job on "Beautiful Star Of Bethlehem."
